Over the years so many customers have come into the Foam King with back pain, aching joints, and other problems that we have developed a number of specially shaped foam products to meet their needs.

Hip Cushions

A Hip Cushion enables patients recovering from hip surgery to keep their hips at a 90 degree angle while sitting and to rise more easily from any chair, including wheelchairs. High-density foam provides comfort and reduces pressure. Comes with a zippered cover. Cushion dimensions are 4” X 18" X 18".  We carry the hip cushion in stock at our Edmonton locations for $52.00.  

Knee Bone

The Knee Bone was developed because lower back pain sufferers are advised by their doctors and physiotherapist to try to keep their knees aligned while sleeping on their sides. Initially, pillows were used but offered only temporary relief because they did not retain the proper shape. The Knee Bone has two grooves cut into it to help keep it in place and improve the alignment of the spine and hips, which helps to relieve pain. It is covered with a zippered-on poly/cotton cover for easy cleaning when necessary.  

Knee Bolster

The Knee Bolster was designed by a physiotherapist to help patients with lower back problems. It is placed under the knees while the patient lies on his or her back, and when properly fitted to slightly elevate the feet, helps to relieve pressure in the lower spine and hip area. Knee Bolsters are made in 8”, 9”, 10” and 11” heights to accommodate different body sizes and are covered with a zippered-on poly/cotton cover for easy cleaning when necessary.

Wedges & Cylinders

Wedges and cylinders of all sizes and dimensions can be provided by the Foam King. There is a wedge designed for those with “acid reflux” that is placed between a mattress and its foundation to raise the head portion of the bed. Foam cylinders can be used for various therapies, including Pilates exercises.
