The convoluted topper sold by The Foam King, was originally designed for a hospital looking for a product to help bed-redden patients avoid pressure sores. Commonly called “egg-crate” foam because of its appearance, the convolute effect helps to cushion the body to eliminate pressure on the shoulders and hips.

The Foam King’s convoluted toppers, made with 2lb high-density foam, are almost 3” thick and should not be confused with the thinner, low density toppers sold in many department stores.

Convoluted toppers are not warranted by the manufacturer, but experience has shown that they will last between 5 and 7 years.
